Bodhi Buddies

A mindfulness-based yoga summer program for kids

Bodhi in Sanskrit means ‘awakened or enlightened’ and reflects the mission of this program –  to awaken children’s minds through the powerful practice of yoga.

Bodhi Buddies will offer a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 6 to 12 years old focused on the development of the whole child. Through fun-infused yoga asana, breath-work, aerial yoga, arts, games, and mindful activities, each kiddo will be instilled with unforgettable experiences and memories. 

We will cultivate: 

  • Finding joy in the moment  
  • Self-regulation & coping strategies
  • Cooperation & teamwork skills
  • Respectful communication with self & others  
  • Leadership skills & accountability

Through inspired curriculum, children are invited to unplug from tech devices and explore the marvel of the present moment! In an age appropriate way, Bodhi Buddies kids will grow and learn about how yoga affects their brain and health.

Each day will be filled with activities such as: 

  • Yoga practice, aerial yoga & games
  • Arts & crafts - making eye pillows & jewelry
  • Yoga nidra & restorative yoga
  • Storytelling & journaling
  • Breathing exercises
  • Brain-based learning
  • Mindful eating & making herbal tea
  • And much more!
