Alignment Yoga at Mind Body Yoga

This is a hatha-based class focusing on foundational poses including arm balances and inversions.  Students can expect a welcoming environment of play and exploration with an emphasis on self-acceptance and inquiry.  Classes are generally centered around building both strength and flexibility at a safe progression for each individual.

 

Thursdays 6 pm - 7 pm

Hatha Yoga at Bloom Yoga & Meditation

Physical postures are taught with a focus on alignment, breath, and intention to bring balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner.  In this class expect longer holds in each posture and a slower approach to practice.  Breathing and meditation techniques may also be taught depending on the teacher or the particular class theme.  Hatha is an all-levels class.

Sundays 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Gentle Hatha Yoga at Bloom Yoga & Meditation

A Hatha style class involving breath work, attention to alignment, and low-impact movement often involving props such as bolsters and blocks.  In this class expect a long warm-up, detailed introduction to postures, and extended relaxation.  Gentle yoga is designed for all levels – this is a beginner friendly class.

Sundays 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm

Bodhi Buddies (6-11 yrs) at Bloom Yoga & Meditation

Bodhi in Sanskrit means “awakened” or “enlightened” and reflects the mission of this class – to awaken children’s minds through the powerful practice of yoga. Through fun-infused yoga asana, breath-work, games, and mindful activities, each kiddo (ages 6-11) will gain tools to stay centered in life.  This is a one-hour, weekly version of the beloved week-long summer program.
